Every investigation starts with a place, its history and a reason someone asked us to take a closer look.

Over the years, S.H.P.I. has investigated historic properties, businesses, private residences and other locations throughout Central Pennsylvania and beyond. Each one is different. Some come with decades of reported activity. Others begin with a handful of experiences that simply don't have an obvious explanation.

Here, you'll find a collection of places we've investigated, along with their stories, what brought us there and some of the moments, evidence and experiences we've documented along the way.

Not everything we capture is paranormal. We look for reasonable explanations first and share what remains interesting, unusual or unexplained.​
